A 15K to honor 15 fallen soldiers from the Columbus, Ohio community.

Fallen 15k

Fallen 15’s inaugural 15-kilometer race will run through the  streets of Dublin, OH. This unique 9.3-mile race is a one-of-a-kind way to honor, celebrate and draw inspiration from local fallen heroes. Each kilometer will feature a Service Member from the Central Ohio region who has made the ultimate sacrifice in the Global War on Terror. Runners will have the unique opportunity to know each individual service member as they traverse each kilometer, which will have a personal and lasting effect. The length of the race was chosen to represent the hardships service members encounter on a daily basis while serving overseas.…

The recovery effort was abandoned on April 2, 2010, and his body was not recovered.
